Quality Value Investing

By David J. Waldron, author of Build Wealth with Common Stocks

In its quest for achieving alpha through fundamental valuation, Quality Value Investing (QVI) uses a checklist-driven proprietary analysis to uncover the winning stocks of enduring enterprises.

Hence, QVI’s mission inspires subscribers to build portfolios of the shares of quality companies purchased at value prices to fund their life’s essential milestones, such as buying a home, paying college tuition, sponsoring a wedding, pursuing a passion, starting a business, or enjoying a comfortable retirement.

I believe that investment newsletters should cost no more than a streaming channel. Thus, Quality Value Investing’s premium subscribers benefit from a high-conviction, low-cost plan at just $10 monthly or $6.67 per month with an annual subscription (33% off vs. month to month), including a 7-day free trial.

Subscriber Bonuses

All subscribers (free and premium) to Quality Value Investing receive a complimentary download of their choice of the eBook editions or PDF of the print edition of my international-selling book, Build Wealth with Common Stocks.

Paying subscribers (Premium and Premium+) benefit from full-text access to the research reports, real-time stock picks, sector reviews, educational posts archive, and online value investing course modules. However, please note that a free subscription to QVI is limited to occasional full-text posts but primarily previews without access to the alpha-achieving stock picks and ratings.

Why Quality Value Investing?

Gene Hutnak Photography

Hello, I’m David J. Waldron, the founder and contributing editor of Quality Value Investing. My work has been featured on Seeking Alpha, TalkMarkets, ValueWalk, MSN Money, Yahoo Finance, QAV (Australia’s #1 Value Investing Podcast), Money Life with Chuck Jaffe, The Acquirer’s Multiple, Capital Employed, Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, Apple Books, the BookLife Prize, and Publisher’s Weekly.

The motivation that drives my writing and publishing of the QVI newsletter content is best summed up in this Pulitzer Prize-winning writer’s quote:

Don't try to figure out what other people want to hear from you; figure out what you have to say. It's the one and only thing you have to offer.

—Barbara Kingsolver, American novelist, essayist and poet

For some background, around 2009, I transitioned to bottom-up value investing after struggling as a top-down growth investor for several years.

By modeling the guiding principles of legendary investors Warren Buffett, Benjamin Graham, Peter Lynch, Howard Marks, and Charlie Munger, I began to pick stocks driven by their influential collective wisdom, which became the foundation of Quality Value Investing.

As a result of my investor reinvention 15 years ago, our concentrated family portfolio of predominantly dividend-paying common shares of quality enterprises has outperformed the S&P 500 based on an equal-weighted average total return per holding during the same periods. As a result, I was fortunate to discover first-hand how quality-driven value investing prevails through all market cycles.

With a subscription to Quality Value Investing, you can invest alongside me in our mutual quest for achieving alpha by using a thoughtful, disciplined, and patient approach to common stock investing.

Build and Maintain Your Portfolio with QVI

My checklist-based approach to stock-picking generates an actionable investment thesis summarizing why I rate the company and its stock as a buyhold, or sell. My easy-to-understand research reports examine the value proposition, shareholder yields, returns on management, valuation multiples, downside risks, and upside catalysts.

And you won’t have to worry about missing anything. Every new edition of the newsletter goes directly to your inbox.
