In this series, Quality Value Investing (QVI) reviews the 41 QVI Real-Time Stock Picks, grouped by sector, to update each holding’s total return performance since inception.

QVI’s coverage groups the primary ticker analysis by sector: communications services, consumer discretionary, consumer staples, financials, health care, industrials, information technology, and materials.

Resources at the end of the post include links to the QVI Stock Picks Real-Time Performance Tracker and QVI’s Research Reports Archive.

Since its inception in 2010, the 41 QVI Stock Picks have collectively outperformed the S&P 500 benchmark by +100.20% or +10,020 basis points in average total return per holding. The outcome is based on an equal-weighted methodology, adjusted for stock splits and dividends paid, as of the market close on June 4, 2025. This performance is a reminder that stock market alpha is typically achieved over long-term holding periods.

Let’s take a closer look at the QVI Stock Picks by sector, since I began covering each stock over the last 15+ years.
